Ronald is a Ugandan HR and Project Management specialist with wide experience in the Development, implementation, monitoring and review of resource plans and activities. He has managed and participated in effective sourcing, development and retention of employees at middle and senior level management. He possesses wide experience in training and capacity needs development coupled with skills in implementation of HR policies like staff welfare, compensation, and management of retirement benefits and schemes with wide knowledge of local and international labor laws.
Ronald has been at the helm of overseeing HR planning and performance management systems for developing relevant metrics, monitoring and evaluation of HR performance as Head of HR in small and medium enterprises.
He has offered volunteer service as a consultant and as part of project teams in areas of advocacy, disease prevention and cure, maternal and child health, conflict resolution, basic education and literacy at both Regional and International levels. He has also presented various papers and received awards on youth and women development issues in Europe, Asia and across East Africa.
He holds a Masters of Science in Human Resource Management from Makerere University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management with specialization in development communication, social marketing and resource mobilization of the Uganda Management Institute and a Bachelors degree in Education majoring in Economics of Makerere University. Ronald is currently pursuing the Harvard Manage Mentor programme with the Harvard Business School as a fellow. He possesses hands on experience in project proposal writing, research and report writing.
Ronald sits on several boards of non-governmental, profit making and volunteer organisations including the Rotary-Mengo Blood Bank, The Rotary Foundation joint committee on Alumni Relations, Our Lady of Africa Schools, Buganda Communications Board, Utility Logistics Limited and ACME Project Associates.He is a Rotarian for the last 11 years and a multiple Paul Harris fellow to the Rotary Foundation.
